Laura Barrow - Southwest Florida Area Director for College Prospects of America

I have lived in Ft. Myers, Florida for over 14 years.  I am married to Rich Barrow and have two sons, Michael , who is a senior at South Ft. Myers High School and Daniel, a freshman at South Ft. Myers High School.  Both of my sons are active in sports, including cross country, track, and soccer.  I have coached JV girls basketball at Estero High School and served as an assistant girls basketball coach at Lehigh Senior High School over the past few years.  I have also coached recreational soccer and am past Vice President (competitive division) of the San Carlos Park Scorpion Soccer Club.  While I did not participate on a collegiate varsity team, I did play high school basketball (4 years) on a state championship team in Mississippi many years ago, and was a starter my senior year.  Needless to say, I have an avid interest in sports, and in particular youth sports! 

I have thoroughly enjoyed counseling student athletes and their families regarding the recruiting process and assisting them in getting widespread exposure to collegiate sport programs throughout the U.S.  My goal is to help as many high school student athletes as possible achieve their dreams of playing collegiate sports.
